We're currently looking for staff to fill the following position:
Webmaster & Email Marketing Associate
This position is for a solutions oriented web designer. You demonstrate a practical approach to solving web scripting / coding challenges and an ability to identify customer needs as well as solve them. You are timely in your responses, manage your time well and meet deadlines.
As the webmaster, you are able to work with graphic designers, copywriters and others to get the finished project completed on time. Process oriented, you can follow along or provide guidance to move projects forward. You also understand customer needs and can solve technical dilemnas while creating quality scripting, coding or configuration solutions. Some of the core technical skills include:
Website Scripting / Coding
Scripting or coding in css is essential; html and some javascript are some of the core skills for web page development and coding of graphic design onto content management systems. Updating website pages, blogs and templates will be some of the more basic routine maintenance tasks. Knowledge and basic skills in PHP & mySQL will be necessary for installing, troubleshooting and working with custom or CMS-based websites.
Email Newsletters & Marketing
Template scripting / coding for email, email newsletter layout, testing and sending / scheduling. Create email sign up forms, autoresponders and other online marketing mechanisms for customer projects.
Customer Support
Create user friendly "HOW TO" documentation for Frequently Asked Questions. Respond to support requests in a timely manner and provide references to existing HOW TO instructions. Troubleshoot hosting & email configuration questions as they arise. Provide friendly, re-assuring support and information in a timely manner.
You demonstrate an aptitude for applying web technologies as solutions for customers and you have the following soft background:
- 2 to 3 years of experience in the internet field
- good customer service & strong customer support skills
- strong scripting / coding experience in stylesheets, html, and some javascript
- basic php coding with a good understanding of databases and mysql
- your are process oriented and can create customer guides or contractor guides in a step-by-step method
